Marketplace DisclaimerEffective June 4, 2026

HandyConnect is a marketplace. Not the service provider.

This disclaimer explains the boundary between what the platform does and what a Handyman does, so there is no ambiguity about who is responsible for the work.

1. What HandyConnect Is

HandyConnect LLCoperates HandyConnect, an online marketplace that introduces Customers to independent home-service professionals (“Handymen”), supports communication between them, lets them form contracts, and facilitates payment through a third-party payment processor.

2. What HandyConnect Is Not

HandyConnect is not a contractor, builder, electrician, plumber, locksmith, mover, or any other home-service provider. HandyConnect does not perform services itself, does not dispatch crews, does not own job sites, does not supply tools or materials, and does not supervise, direct, inspect, approve, or correct the manner or means by which any Handyman performs work. HandyConnect is not an insurer, escrow agent, trustee, guarantor, or fiduciary for any party.

3. No Endorsement or Guarantee

Listings, reviews, ratings, badges, trust scores, identity checks, document reviews, and verification flags are informational. They do not constitute endorsements, recommendations, warranties, insurance confirmations, licensing opinions, background checks, safety approvals, or guarantees by HandyConnect of any Handyman, Customer, job, or transaction. Verified status reflects limited information provided to HandyConnect or its identity-verification vendor at a point in time and may not reflect current credentials. HandyConnect does not conduct criminal background checks, registry checks, credit checks, reference checks, or continuous monitoring on any User. You are responsible for your own due diligence before transacting.

4. Contracts Are Between Users

When a Customer and Handyman accept a contract, the resulting agreement is directly between them. HandyConnect is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for its performance, non-performance, payment under it (other than facilitating disclosed payment technology), workmanship, warranties, damages, or any breach of it.

5. Information Provided By Users

Information on the Platform — including job descriptions, profile bios, pricing, photos, and messages — is supplied by Users. HandyConnect does not pre-screen or verify the accuracy of every piece of content. Users should independently verify information they rely on, especially licenses, insurance, and pricing.

6. Property Damage and Personal Injury

Any property damage, theft, personal injury, illness, death, code violation, permit issue, or similar claim connected to a job is between the Customer, the Handyman, the property owner, any subcontractor, and any insurer. HandyConnect is not a party to the work and disclaims liability for damage or injury caused by Handymen, Customers, third parties on site, tools, materials, or site conditions to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Use At Your Own Risk

Use of the Platform is at your own risk. Customers should evaluate Handymen carefully before booking. Handymen should evaluate jobs and Customers carefully before accepting. HandyConnect provides discovery and trust signals to assist this evaluation but does not substitute for it.
